The building's roof was rendered 'unrepairable' by the May 2025 EF3 tornado; water damage forced the org to fully move out of the mansion in Feb 2026. They launched a restoration capital campaign and on June 10, 2026 received a $1M SLDC grant earmarked for building restoration — active, funded intent to fix the roof/envelope.
